Procedures for Medical Services

1. Regular Outpatient: register at the Registration Desk of the lobby→see the doctor→ Cashier→examinations and getting medicine

2. Expert Outpatient: register at the Registration Desk of the lobby→see the doctor by serial number→ Cashier→examinations and getting medicine

Medical Services Procedures for Medical Insurance Bearer

The insurance bearer registers at Registration Desk (by showing Medical Insurance Card, ID and Outpatient Clinical Record ) ——see the doctor—— take the Medical Insurance Card and ID Card to pay the bill at cashier——examinations, getting medicine and treatment——settle the bills by showing Medical Insurance Card and paying self-paid part

Medical Insurance Designation Procedureplease bring Medical Insurance Card and ID to the Registration Desk of Modern Hospital Guangzhou for consultation,and fill in the registration card for social medical insurance bearer;Attach a small one-inch autochrome in the registration card. Please come to the Registration Desk for detailed information.

Hospitalization Policy

Dear patients, welcome to our hospital. In order to create a safe, clean and cozy environment for you, please be aware of and abide by the following hospitalization policy as well as kind notice:

1.Please take good care of your valuable belongings and money, and keep them in the safe to avoid unnecessary loss, and the original password of the safe is 123. Please properly keep the room key, and lock the door whenever you leave the room. Please return the key when you discharge.

2.When patient leaves the room for outdoor activities, please tell the nurses where you will go; If you want to leave the hospital for dining or shopping, please inform the nurses and get the permission from the doctor, then fill in the leave form

3.Usually the ward rounds by the doctor is 9:00---11:00 , and treatment time is 8:30---12:00, so please don’t miss the rounds or the treatment.

4.The ward is equipped with central oxygen delivery system, so please don’t cook with your own appliances such as wok or induction cooker for the sake of your and others’ safety.

5.During your stay, we offer free laundry services to you and your family. Please put all the clothes and towels that need to be washed in the basket at the washroom before 8:00am. Our staff will collect them before 8:30 am.

6.There is a beeper near your bedside, please press it whenever you need help from the nurses or doctors. There is an emergency beeper in the washroom, please press it whenever you fall down or encounter other accidents.

7.Hot water in the washroom is available 24 hours. Please turn on the cold water first before hot water to avoid scald. Please don’t enter the wash room in barefoot to avoid falling. 

8.Please don’t lock the door during night, so the nurses can come in for checking.

9.The hospital offers food ordering service, and the ordering time is : 8:00—11:30,15:00—17:00. You can also order food by calling 5316 with the telephone at your bedside or inform the nurses.

10.Please sit for a while after you get up, making sure you are not dizzy before you walk to prevent falling. Patients who are with older age or in weak conditions and have no companion should call nurses for help when get up or go to the washroom. Please pull up the fences of the bed when you sleep to avoid falling off.

11.There is a sky garden on the 4F for you to rest and exercise. There are public kitchens equipped with cooking facilities on the 5F and 7F. The food market is just across the road of the hospital. Grocery stores are also in walking distance. If you want to top up your phone or buy a SIM card, please ask the nurses or interpreters for help.
