Celebration of the 119th Anniversary Proclamation of Philippine Independence and promote China-Philippine Medical Collaboration.

June 12, 2017, Mr. He LangBin, Director of International Affairs from St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou attended the 119th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence and 20th Anniversary of the Philippine Consulate General Guangzhou ceremony which invited by Ms. Tang, Consul General of Philippine Consulate General Guangzhou. Director He LangBin and Consul Ms. Tang had a discussion about the cooperation of medical between China-Philippine on the ceremony, wishing that they could reinforce in communication and collaboration, at the same time improve the use of medical technology together.

The celebration began after playing the national anthem of the Republic of the Philippines and the Republic of China. Then, Consul General Ms. Tang made a speech, “There is a long history of a relationship between Philippine and China, they are a good neighbor, good partner since ancient times. In the implementation of “the Belt and Road initiative” policy, China has become the first quarter of 2017 the largest trade partner of bilateral trade in the Philippines.” said Ms. Tang. During the communication, Director He mentioned that it is necessary to further promote medical cooperation between China-Philippines and provide better medical services to the Philippine patients while improving the economic between two countries. The Philippine government is very concerned about the advancement of the medical industry.

Mr. He LangBin, Director of International Affairs from St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou has been working in the Philippines for many years in past, he has a deep feeling and understanding toward Philippine. During the ceremony, Mr. He mentioned, “although the medical condition has been improved in the past few years, however, there are still having certain obstacles such as uneven distributions of medical resources and relatively backward of medical technology. As a concept of “Medical without borders”, St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou will do their best to propagate the minimally invasive treatment and bring in the modern anti-cancer concept to people in Philippine in order to help cancer patients in Philippine.”

St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou had established an office in Manila, Philippine since 2011 which had helped out thousands of cancer patients from Philippine. In 2017, a consultation office is set up to provide medical consultation, remote consultation, health talk, and medical support for more cancer patients in Philippine.
